Electrical Work for Gates & Access Systems
The electrical side of automated entries — operator power, conduit, sensor and loop wiring, lock circuits and device terminations, installed as part of the gate and access system itself.
What It Covers
Wiring that belongs to the entry system
An automated gate is only as reliable as the power and low-voltage work feeding it. We handle the electrical scope that connects operators, safety devices, detection loops, locks and access hardware into one working entry.

Tied to the system, not general electrical
This work is limited to the electrical side of gate automation and access systems — the operators, controls, sensors and connected project components. It is not general building or premises electrical contracting.
Installed with the equipment
Because the same team installs the gate, the operator and the access devices, the wiring is planned around where the equipment actually lands.
Existing systems included
Power and wiring issues on an already-installed gate or access system are inspected and corrected as part of a repair scope.
Scope is confirmed after the site, the equipment and the available power have been reviewed. Requirements differ by property, so the electrical plan follows the assessment.
Applications
Equipment We Wire
Electrical work is scoped to the operators, controls, sensors and access devices on the project.
- 01
Operator Power
Power runs and terminations for slide, swing, overhead and in-ground gate operators and parking barriers.
- 02
Conduit & Pathways
Conduit routing between the power source, the operator, the entry devices and the detection equipment.
- 03
Photo-Safety Eye Sensors
Wiring and terminations for photo-eye safety devices at the gate opening.
- 04
Vehicle Loop Sensors
Loop and detector wiring for exit, safety and reversing loops in the drive surface.
- 05
Maglocks & Electric Strikes
Circuits and terminations for magnetic locks, electric strikes and the release devices tied to them.
- 06
Controllers & Access Devices
Low-voltage wiring and terminations for controllers, keypads, readers, intercoms and cellphone access units.

Tell us where the equipment goes and what power is available, and we'll review the electrical scope.

How We Approach Your Project
Power planned around the equipment
- 01
Review power and routing
Available power, distances, surfaces and equipment locations are reviewed on site.
- 02
Plan the runs
Conduit paths, device locations and detection placement are set before trenching or pulling.
- 03
Install and terminate
Power, conduit, low-voltage runs and device terminations are installed with the equipment.
- 04
Test the circuit
Operators, safety devices, loops and access hardware are checked as a working circuit.
