What It Is

Automation for gates that pivot on hinges

A swing operator opens the gate on its hinge line. It suits driveways and pedestrian entries with room for the leaf to travel — common on residential properties, ornamental entries and light commercial openings.

What We Look At

Clearance First, Then Equipment

Swing gates fail when the arc, the hinges or the operator don't agree. We confirm all three on site.

  • 01

    Swing clearance

The leaf needs unobstructed arc, inward or outward. Slope, driveway length, planters and parked vehicles all shape which direction the gate can open.

  • 02

    Single or dual leaf

One leaf or two changes the operator count, the mounting points and how the gate is sequenced when it opens and closes.

  • 03

    Operator selection

Leaf weight, leaf length and cycle frequency guide the operator configuration — arm, ram or in-ground style equipment.

  • 04

    Controls & safety

Keypads, intercoms, readers and remotes are wired in, with photo-safety eyes and loops covering the swing path.
