Maglocks
Electromagnetic locking for gates and openings that need a secured hold — installed with the power, controller, access devices and release hardware around it.
What It Is
Holding force instead of a mechanical latch
A maglock uses an energized magnet and an armature plate to hold a gate or door closed until the access system releases it. It fits openings already tied into access control, where a credential — not a key — decides when the opening lets someone through.

What We Look At
Locking Is Only Half of It
Power, control and release all have to be planned with the lock itself.
- 01
Power & wiring
A maglock holds while energized, so the power supply, conduit and wiring path are part of the install from the start.
- 02
Controller & access devices
Readers, keypads, intercoms and controllers are wired so a valid credential releases the lock.
- 03
Release conditions
Exit devices, request-to-exit hardware and fire access switching are coordinated with how the opening has to release.
- 04
Gate compatibility
Frame, alignment, hinge play and armature mounting are checked — not every gate will hold a maglock properly as-is.
